Oyen & District Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Recipients

PAIGE SIEGEL

Congratulations to Paige Siegel, who was one of four of the Oyen & District Chamber of Commerce’s scholarship recipients!

Paige says she has a true love for figure skating and it was her primary extracurricular activity since she was 3!  She spent time with the Oyen & District Figure Skating Club being a program assistant and this past year she took it a step further and obtained her Canskate Coach certification!

Paige was enrolled in the Medicine Hat College in Speech Language Therapy, which is a two year program. She will then transfer to and complete her degree in Community Rehabilitation at the University of Calgary. After the completion of her degree, she will apply for her masters to become a certified Speech Language Pathologist. Paige says receiving this scholarship will help alleviate some costs associated with pursuing post-secondary and will play an important role in allowing her to focus on her studies

Congratulations once again Paige and thank you for applying for the Oyen & District Chamber of Commerce scholarship!

Ashley enjoyed softball and volleyball during her school years

Ashley attended Dhillons School Of Business at Lethbridge University this past year and says her goal is to become an entrepreneur and return to the rural way of life that she was born & nurtured in!
