Normal operation resume at Big Country Hospital

On behalf of the AHS South Zone Leadership team, we are happy to announce that the Oyen Big Country Hospital resumed normal operations on November 1, 2023.

We have made significant progress in recruiting acute care and emergency department staff allowing us to reopen the remaining five acute care beds.

AHS is committed to ensuring ongoing access to healthcare in Oyen.

We are thankful for the support of surrounding healthcare centres and medical staff and would like to thank the community for their patience and understanding during this time.
