Josh Gallik
My name is Joshua Gallik. My mom and dad are Tara and Jamie, and I have 1 sister Tamara. My mom has a twin sister and 2 brothers and my dad has 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
I have 9 cousins on my dad side and 11 on my mom side, so I guess you could say I have a big family! From kindergarten to grade 6 I went to school at St. Louis catholic school, and then from grades 7-11 I went to St Thomas Aquinas. I’ve played volleyball and basketball since grade 7, and in grade 11 both our teams made it into the provincial playoffs down in southern Ontario. I started to play baseball at age 5, and would keep my dad at the baseball field or in the backyard for hours. One of my best memories growing up was when my parents surprised me for my 12th birthday and we drove down to Minnesota to watch 3 Blue Jays games. In the summer I like to drive the boat, wake board, golf, and fish. I spend a lot of time at my Gramma and Grampa’s who live on the river. My baseball team in kenora calls me Gally, but pretty much everyone else I know just calls me Gallik. My favorite school memories in Kenora would be making it to Ontario provincials for basketball and volleyball. And for grade 12, it would be going to Florida and seeing spring training games. My future plans are to go to college, play baseball and take an electrical course.
