Youth in philanthropy

The Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta will launch their 2023 Youth in Philanthropy (YiP) program March 1st 2023. Deadline to register is February 28th.  All Schools are welcome to attend the virtual workshops held at 9am-10am on February 1st 2023, and 12pm-1pm on February 3, 2023, to learn about the YiP Guidelines and program.

CFSEA’s Youth in Philanthropy (YiP) program is a leadership development initiative where students learn about critical issues in their community. Participating schools form a student-led committee that oversees the allocation of $1,000 – $2,000 in grants to local charitable organizations. The school-based model allows the program to reach youth from a variety of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
