Warren Peers School Staff

Meet the staff at Warren Peers School.

Jaime Didychuk: I am returning for my 23 year at WPS.  I teach grade 7,8 and 9 math, as well as some grade 3-4 math and elementary PE.  I also direct the junior high drama production and run the schools archery program.  I am proud of what we offer our students.

Lora Fletcher-Wilson: I am currently the principal and a teacher at Warren Peers School. I currently live on a farm outside of Eatonia, SK with my son and husband. I have taught in small rural schools for my whole teaching career starting in Consort, AB, then to Bindloss, AB and now Acadia Valley, AB. I am so privileged to work with such a great staff and I am thankful for all the community support of our small school.

Lori Kellington: My name is Lori Kellington and I have been working at Warren Peers School since 2011. I have the perfect job because I get to wear different hats. I am the Admin assistant or school secretary, I am the EA in our social video conferencing classes and also the school librarian. It is a very rewarding job and I love it because I get to work with all the different grades and a wonderful staff.

Kirsten McCurdy: Born (a LONG time ago) and raised in Calgary, I lived in a great neighbourhood halfway between the Stampede Grounds and the Zoo.  I think this formed my character. After I graduated from Western Canada High School, I attended the University of Lethbridge and graduated with a Bachelor of Education with a major in Drama and a specialization in Early Childhood Education.

My first job was teaching Kindergarten in a tiny rural community called Bonanza, 2 hours northwest of Grande Prairie. Culture shock! Then I came to Empress to teach at Kitchener School. Although I didn’t think I would stay in this area for long, one day I met a handsome and friendly rancher named Syd. We married, had two boys, Chance (29) and Connor (27), and I have come to love and appreciate this wild and complex land we live on.

I have taught in Empress, Bindloss, New Brigden, Schuler, and Acadia Valley, where I continue to teach various subjects in Grades 1-9. I love the community, the kids, and the staff.  I am truly blessed. I’m looking forward to the greatest school year yet!

Nichole Northrop: My name is Ms. Nichole Northrop. My family and I live near Alsask, SK where we operate a small farm with cattle, equine, poultry and swine. This is my seventh-year teaching with Prairie Rose School Division and my second-year teaching at WPS. My teaching assignment this year is Grade 1, 2 & 3.

Jayden Smith: I am Jayden Smith and I am from Leader, Saskatchewan. I grew up on a grain farm outside of town. I went to the University of Saskatchewan for my Bachelors of Education. I am in my third year of teaching. I work at Warren Peers School in Acadia Valley. Before Warren Peers I subbed at Leader Composite School. I teach in a triple-graded classroom. I teach 7-9 English, science, PE, and some of the 7-9 options. I also teach the social studies 4-5 video conferencing class which includes students from Jenner and New Brigden. I coach the junior high volleyball team, badminton team, track and field team, and am the assistant coach for the basketball team.

Kristi Jarvis: My name is Kristi Jarvis and I teach the Kindergarten and Junior Kindergarten program at Warren Peer School. I believe in making learning a joyous adventure. Passionate about creativity, I craft an inclusive environment where every child can explore and discover through play. With a commitment to fostering fun and imaginative experiences, I help young learners develop a love for education while building essential skills.
