Oyen Lodge Report: Keeping super busy

By Sara Smith

Another great week has flown by; we have been keeping super busy these past weeks! The weather was a bit all over the place, but thankful it isn’t below -50°C again. We hope everyone got out to enjoy the little sliver of sunlight we had over the weekend.

We are enjoying socials, birthday bashes, spa days, and even some shopping! We are lucky to have Alberta Clothing stop in this Wednesday and let the residents shop. We are also keeping up with our exercises 3 times a week, of course bingo and horse racing every week. As well as church services twice a week, we are so thankful to the minsters, and priests who come by to do services for the residents.

Puzzles have been quite popular lately among the residents you can always count on 2-4 puzzles going on in either common rooms, we love to see it! We are also keeping busy doing arts and crafts once a week, we are started doing some early Valentine’s day crafts this week. Planning for a few bake days in February so that we can have a Valentine’s Day bake sale!

We hope everyone has had a great January!
