New Stryker Bed for Big Country Hospital’s LTC Unit

Thanks to a collaboration between the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund and the Oyen & District Health Care Foundation, the Big Country Hospital LTC Unit is the grateful recipient of a new Stryker Bed. This replaces an aging bed and is part of an ongoing replacement program. The cost of this bed is $9088 with the Poppy Fund contributing a very generous $6000 and the Foundation covering the remainder. The Oyen & District Health Care Foundation is committed to funding enhancements to the health care needs of this communioty and are always open to cost sharing. This donation from the Royal Canadian Legion is an example of such a joint venture.
