CFSEA Launches $35,000 Community Impact Award: Applications Open January 6
The Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta (CFSEA) is thrilled to announce that applications open for the Community Impact Award on Monday, January 6th 2025. On this date, CFSEA staff will host a grant writing workshop at noon to outline all grant details and how to apply.
The CFSEA’s Community Impact Award offers one grant up to $35,000, designed for charities with innovative, new project ideas that show creativity and leadership in supporting a vibrant, healthy, and caring community. The deadline to submit applications is February 6th, at 4:30 pm.
Projects must align with the priorities outlined in CFSEA's 2023 Vital Signs Report, focusing on one of the following areas: Work & Economy, Connection & Belonging, Basic Needs including Food, Housing, and Health.
In awarding grants, CFSEA conducts a comprehensive procedure to determine the most crucial community needs from data and evidence-based practice. Grants are then awarded based on potential impact and fund availability.
For more insights into the application process and grant guidelines, we encourage those interested in registering for the Community Impact Award Workshop. Call 403.527.9038 or email grants@cfsea.ca to learn more.
