Cereal Community Hall Closes

The community of Cereal was saddened by the recent closure of the Cereal Community Hall. Due to structural and safety concerns, the Special Areas Board had to close the building. Saturday, October 16th, marked when all portable contents were removed from the hall and taken to the C.J. Peacock Centre.

The next major undertaking will be creating a new community centre for the community. Twenty-two volunteers helped out from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. to remove all the items and relocate them to their new location. Once again, it will be the good folks from Cereal and the surrounding area who will be the ones to make this vast endeavour become a possibility.
