BYEMOOR ENDIANG NEWS: Shrove Tuesday pancake supper
By Les and Rosemary Stulberg
The Church at Endiang will once again host the Shrove Tuesday pancake supper on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at the Endiang Community Hall from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come enjoy a delicious meal of sausages, eggs and pancakes with great toppings. Admission is by donation.
The church is donating all money received to the Byemoor School and the students will be helping with serving and clean-up. Be sure to come support this worthy cause.
A tip of the hat goes to the Byemoor Colony who were listed among the Diamond Sponsors of the 2023 Festival of Lights event in December. Diamond Sponsors are those who donated $3,000 or more to the annual event. The fundraiser raised more than $150,000 to purchase equipment for the Stettler Hospital. The generosity of the Byemoor Colony is to be commended.
Les Stulberg and others from the County of Stettler attended the Provincial Agricultural Service Board conference held in Lethbridge on Jan. 22 – 25. The conference had a number of excellent keynote speakers, an address from the Minister of Agriculture as well the membership drafted a number of resolutions to be sent to the provincial government aimed to improve agriculture in Alberta. Lethbridge has a very impressive, recently opened exhibition facility where the event was hosted.
Dale and Dee Green along with Gary and Dolores Pearson recently enjoyed a vacation to the Big Island of Hawaii. Their winter escape will have been a nice break from winter.

Thanks to Publisher Kate Winquist and her staff for their efforts in delivering a valued publication aimed at serving the greater Hanna area. Working with Kate was a pleasure and we’re sorry to see the Sentinel go, but wish everyone involved all the best in their future endeavours.
