Assumption School has a new principal!

Andrea Wolfe joins our community from Drumheller, having taught at St. Anthony’s School for the past 19 years. Ms. Wolfe grew up in Saskatoon, SK and has ties to Marengo, SK through her maternal grandparents. She brings a wealth of teaching experience, from teaching different elementary grades, elementary music, as well as a variety of junior and senior high courses, including career and technology studies (Construction), learning strategies, and religion. Ms. Wolfe has also taken on various leadership roles such as team leader for religious education, division one, and health and wellness. Ms. Wolfe has also overseen liturgies, elementary choir, and numerous Christmas concerts.

In addition to teaching, Ms. Wolfe has served as the Music and Backstage Director, and contributed to set design and construction for school productions of "Into the Woods, Jr." and "Peter Pan, Jr.”

In 2019, Ms. Wolfe furthered her education by earning a Master of Education in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Inclusive Education from the University of Calgary. Ms. Wolfe is excited to start this new school year as the Principal of Assumption School!
