LEE: Brandon William, November 27, 1993 - July 28, 2018
Brandon was born November 27, 1993, in Medicine Hat. He was a loving son, brother, father, friend and husband. His tragic death was a huge loss for everyone who knew and loved him.
April 1, 2010, he met Jacqueline Brownlee and they fell in love instantly. April 15, 2011 they welcomed a son into the world, Cordell James. As he grew, Brandon loved teaching Cordell the small important things in life; how to fix cars and how to hunt.
July 15, 2013 was the memorable day that Brandon proposed to Jackie and August 28, 2016 they finally tied the knot and were married. April 24, 2016 another son was born into the family, Lucian Elmint. When Brandon wasn’t working or playing games with the children, they would just cuddle and relax. June 15, 2015 a beautiful baby girl was born to Brandon and Jackie, Athena Jean.
Brandon’s friends would often want him to spend time with them but Brandon’s love was his family. Brandon and the children watched “Paw Patrol” and “Spirit” for hours at a time, just being together and cuddling. They enjoyed their time together and sometimes would go to see the horses.
When Brandon wasn’t “driving his wife crazy” with what he saw as romantic gestures, he would be out buying car parts. On their first anniversary he was singing and out buying flowers for his beautiful wife.
A tragedy has claimed his life. He was so many things to all of us: a son, husband, father, brother and nephew.
Although he is gone, he will never be forgotten.
Funeral Service was held August 9 at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall in Oyen with Robbie Shields officiating. Special music was provided by Jackie’s family.
Pallbearers were Corey Loran, Craighton Thurr, David Reimer, and Colin Dahl.
