Wind Turbines arrive by rail

Tower sections unloaded by cranes on the old Oyen Golf Course site.

Unloaded ‘Nacelle’ (gearbox) units along with rotor hubs. Site workers mentioned that the turbine blades will arrive later in July. Each ‘blade’ will be 73.7 meters and weigh approx. 70 metric tonnes giving a 150m rotor diameter.
