Oyen Public School’s Winter Olympics
Olympic week has started at OPS last week. Six countries (Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland) participated in the Opening Ceremonies on Thursday, February 3. Teams were busy building their bobsleds, flags, torch and learning about the games and their countries.
The competition to began on Friday, Feb 4 with a broom ball game between Sweden and France at the first recess. Sweden took the contest 2-0.
