Tacabree Country is hosting a kids' dummy roping contest during the rodeo in Hanna on Saturday, September 16.

Sunday, August 27, was perfect for the 2023 Cereal Kids Rodeo. The weather was good, the food booth was serving excellent food, and the cowboys and cowgirls put on a fantastic show for the spectators.

If the walls could talk, the stories they would tell. An old building settled into the prairie landscape, infused with history.

This little fella looks like he knows his way around a tractor. I’m sure he will be driving the big machine in no time!

The streets of Hanna were lined with happy spectators as the annual Fall Fair Parade wound its way through the community.

The Hanna Cruisers held their Show and Shine in downtown Hanna this past weekend. The event has been a fixture in Hanna for 24 years…

The weekly Oyen & District Farmer’s Market was held on August 11 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. The event featured a delicious turkey lunch served by the Acadia Colony and a bake table by the United Church women.

The Cereal Athletic Association’s 2nd Annual Mud Bog was held on Saturday, July 29. Over 40 entries came from as far away as Shaunavon, Sask, Medicine Hat, Smokey Lake and Rimbey, Alta.
