Prairie Sentinel
The Esther elevator is the oldest wooden elevator remaining in the province of Alberta. It was built by the Alberta Wheat Pool in 1926. It closed in 1979.

The Oyen Daycare completed their bottle drive in Cereal. It was a huge success!
The Prairie Elevator Museum
The Prairie Elevator Museum is a former Alberta Wheat Pool grain elevator that has been restored and converted into a community gift shop and tea house.
Future scientists
Look at all these smiling faces at New Brigden School! The kids have been learning great things in their science class, including making a compass out of magnets, a needle, cork and bowl of water.
